Bradenton Christian-Kenny Lamb
Bayshore H S will be considered if a negative response is received from Palmetto or Manatee. Any new school must be committed before the Spring Classics.
Covering sub-varsity games “across the bridge” was discussed. Two ways to help resolve this problem were discussed. Gail Blanton will make a list of all known sub-varsity “across the bridge” games and SFOA officials will be given an opportunity to sign up for games they will work. Also, all officials will be required to be available to work 1 sub-varsity game in the south counties.
The SFOA Board meeting schedule was established through April: 2-19,3-5, 3-19, 4-2,4-16 and 4-30.
Kenny Lamb requested that as many Board members as possible plan to attend the upcoming FHSAA Presidents meeting. The meeting date is TBD.
A letter from Kenny Lamb along with a check for the amount agreed to is to be sent to Southeast H S for the missed game. This is to be done by 2-13-07.
The income for the Spring Classic games be retained by SFOA to supplement the year end banquet, as well as other operating expenses. This allows SFOA to have one of the lowest membership dues in the state. It was also decided, to allow the maximum number of officials to gain field experience, that 7 man crews will be used at Spring Classic games.
All members that have passed the Level II screening must make a copy of their card and submit it when paying their SFOA dues. These will be used to make a list of all officials who have passed the screening.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM
