SFOA 10/20/08 Board Meeting Minutes
Attendees: Ed Bates, Dick Redmond, Ed Sullivan, Steve Patterson, David Barber,
Steve Patterson, Ray Glen, Randy Helms, Guy Spiros
Absent: None
Meeting called to order at 6:15 PM by Ed Bates.
Dick Redmond presented the Board 10/6/22/08 meeting minutes to Board. The
minutes were accepted.
Since a 51% of the SFOA membership is required for passing bylaw changes, the
Board voted to table the bylaw change membership voting until a meeting is
attended by an adequate number of members.
The verbal abuse matter at Dunedin was reported by Ed Bates to have been
discussed with the SYFC president. This president was reported to have had a
discussion with the person who was advised to refrain from any future verbal
contact with SFOA officials.
To avoid any future parking lot confrontations, official parking at Dunedin will
be allowed in the tennis court area.
A motion was made and passed by the Board to restore Shawn Glen to his previous
SFOA rating.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00PM
