SFOA Board Meeting Minutes 6-4-2007 6:00PM
Present: Kenny Lamb, John Krentzman, Dick Redmond, Ed Sullivan, Steve Patterson, Guy Spiros, Reggie Smith
Absent: Joe Magadino
Meeting held at 6:00PM at Clearwater High School
A considerable amount of time was spent discussing what to propose to the SYFC and PYFC conferences for a three year contract that would be acceptable to both SFOA and the youth organizations. It was decided that Kenny Lamb would discuss with both conferences what is acceptable and after a verbal aggreement is made, present this to the membership of SFOA.
Ed Bates submitted a letter to the board requesting to be promoted to an 8. The board voted unanimously to promote Ed.
Board liaisons for the required committees were selected. They are as follows:
Grievance-John Krentzman
Evaluation-Dick Redmond
Assignment-Steve Patterson
Recommendation-Reggie Smith
Training-Joe Magadino
The board liaison members will select committee chairmen who will then fill in their committee.
Gail Blanton will contact the 4 schools whose signed contracts have not been returned to determine their intentions.
Gail Blanton will contact all schools under contract and provide their schedules. They will be asked to verify that these schedules are correct and respond to SFOA.
There will be a crew white hat meeting to be followed with the varsity game draw on 7/16/07.
